Reviews That They Hide From You
There are so many review companies out there that do NOT have your best interests in mind as a consumer. They hide reviews from you, they also attempt to extort people like me by attempting to force me to pay them to place my business in front of you the consumer.
A few tips when looking to hire an entertainer, performer and especially a magician, read on.
1.) Consider The Source
Some review sites have crappy algorithms that keep you from seeing all reviews. When searching through review sites, be sure to look for and click on "hidden reviews". Knowing this little trick will save you a lot of time and hassle when booking a performer.
2.) Look At More Than One Review Site
It is vitally important that you do your due diligence when reading reviews. Be sure to search multiple pages instead of just one, before making your booking decision.
3.) Understand The Tone And Context
Some reviews are funny, some are angry, some are truthful and some are flat out lies. Sort of take a mental snapshot of all reviews that you find and create and average of understanding. You can tell when a person is just being funny or when a person is trying to be really helpful. Also, you can really tell by a person's word choice their tone, so try to place that in the proper context when deciding on who to go with.
I have a attached a photo below of my hidden reviews on yelp, so that you can see what I am talking about. My "review" of myself was sort of a dry joke as I was just getting use to the platform and trying to understand how it works and... well, how it does't work.
I hope that you find my hidden reviews helpful when hiring a magician, because these are real clients and real people who actually love magic.
Cheers.
